Anthony Johnson lost one hundred and forty five pounds in 2010 and has been committed to using his story, and attendant skills and experience to help people achieve optimal health and wellness. He has a Masters degree in Communication and left a career in academia to pursue a career to help inspire as many people as he could pursue the series of lifestyle changes he implemented. After earning his certification though the American Council on Exercise, he went to work for a live-in fitness camp, helping thousands of people transform their lives from the inside out. He created Mindful and Fit to fuse his academic interests in positive psychology, human biomechanics and nutrition with his passion for mindfulness, yoga, and meditation. In his spare time, Tony loves competing in obstacle course races, competing in Muay Thai kickboxing, and triathlons and reading. It is his hope to use Mindful and Fit to advance the human condition in all areas of mind, body and spirit.
Individual and Small-Group Coaching
Tony contracts one-on-one and small group personal training services, including bootcamps, functional mobility and stability training, strength training, weight-loss coaching, and sport-specific training. Some guests prefer to hire Tony for hour long sessions, others prefer to work with him on a weekly basis. He is able to customize an agreement to suit your needs and goals.
